The blow-down silencer is used for blow-down processes or to minimise noise for compactors, turbines or boiler plants and to reduce nosing when emptying gas-filled vessels.
With this highly-developed silencer, fine individual sounds or certain frequency ranges can be filtered out from the sound. Due to its construction, this type of silencer is suitable for use in gas flows which contain dust.
